This belongs to a buddy of mine. It has been sitting in his dads garage since 1969. We don't know what it fits.

I'm not sure but there's no where for the dist. so I would say ford or Buick or something I guess.

See any resemblance here? I would say almost for sure it is a old Hemi manifold. It looks like a factory piece, and that would be the only engine that old that came with 2 4bbls that would look like that.

Agree with neonlarry. The chrysler hemi's are the only ones i can think of that came with dual quads. The only other thing that might come to mind is one of the old ford 427 SOHC, but the manifold don't look right for that enginie. It's been a long itme though since I have seen one, least a factory looking setup.

Could also be an old Pontiac. Seems to me that is the color. I had a pontiac dual quad many years ago, I don't think it had a distributer hole. Anyway, let us know what you find out! Are there any numbers cast underneath? That may help.

The bolt pattern looks totally different than the one Neonlarry posted.

No thermostat housing either on that new one. I would have to say Pontiac....

There are some casting numbers in between the carburetors. They are hard too read. There is a diamond symbol above the casting number that looks like a WM inside the diamond. I may take one of the carbs. off and see if I can get the number.

I dont think pontiac......look at the ends of the intake, they seal down to the block. The ponchos had a tin valley cover, & the intake was raised up.....also the t stat housing came off the front of the intake horizontal,not vertical in the pic. Im stummped on what it is tho....

I took off one of the carbs and there was another casting number.
1822004 is the number and it looks like a GM casting number. Under that was a date stamp I think. It reads E 16. Then the diamond looks like a DANA symbol. It is turned side ways. I can't really tell what letters are inside but it isn't the shape of the Chrysler pendastar. I don't have any idea what this thing is. Maybe the casting # will help.

I think I found it. I typed in the casting # in GOOGLE and I found 1 link. It said that casting number 1822004 was a 57' Fury 2x4 intake manifold.

I appreciate everyone helping me with this. (I love these old Treasures!)
