Re: Are there trucks in your town you have your eye on....
right around the corner from me. 67-8 short stepper, light blue, looks original. old man keeps it under a carport and drives it almost daily. has a topper on it, so i'd hope the bed is still good. need to talk to him sometime.

i can't think of any more in my town that aren't mine, but in a 20 mile radius there has got to be hundreds counting the salvage yards. there are several that sit all summer jut to plow snow in the winter

Re: Are there trucks in your town you have your eye on....
There is one right now that I am watching, sitting at a old closed down towing place. It is a 71 4x4 burb, little bit of rust on the rockers, yellow and white. Every time I go by I am tempted to stop.

Re: Are there trucks in your town you have your eye on....
There is a greeen/white 71-72 Custom? a neighbor to my inlaws has that I'd would have loved to get my hands on. The problem is It's been used as a farm truck. I bet it's never seen salt but according to my father inlaw says it's been used as a field sprayer and run hard into some ditches at some time. I saw it recently and it's starting to get some surface rust from sitting outside and the front grill is broken.
It makes me mad. I'm sure its a very low mileage truck that's getting the snot pounded out if it.
