Got the white one
Well, I caved in and bought the white truck I had mentioned in a previous post. 1985 Silverado SWB. It had been repainted about three years ago and whoever did it...well, I think I could have done better myself and I've never painted one. Overspray on most of the trim, but I think I'll be able to get most of that off. Engine is a 350 replacement. Don't know the mileage, but it runs strong...REAL strong. It was one of the later model VORTEC engines that was converted to a carb (Edelbrock). There are some problematic areas that I have to take care of, but I'll just do them one at a time until I've got everything back up to snuff. You can look for me to be posting some HELP questions later on. I'll post a pic of it tomorrow when there is a little more light. I guess I'll have to sell the LWB 86 I just got, mama says I can't have both.

Re: Got the white one
Do what I do and don't let her read this. Put a "For Sale" sign in the window with such a high price on it that no one will buy it and if they do then it would be worth it.
Bob, You have one hell of a woman there. I'm lucky to get mine to come in the garage.

Re: Got the white one
Ok, here's a couple or three pix. I know it needs some work, but we'll get there eventually.
