70 gmc disc swap and five bolt change
sorry guys and gals i'am sure this has been covered before,but i need to ask.I just bought a 70 gmc last night drum brakeall four corners ..I'am going to swap my disc setup and linkage from my old 72 chev,but can i just swap the axles out in the rear end...the new truck is a leaf truck and the 72 was coils...which brings me to my next question...when..and i'am going to want to ..when i want to change over to coil and trailing arms..can i just salvage the brackets for the trailing arms and fit them to the crossmember that is already there?..has anybody (and i'am sure some one has) done this?..Just happy to have another truck.....

if the rearends are the same (10/12bolt) swapin the axles should be no problem. as for the leaf/coil swap, i dont know.
