One less truck!!!

Well, I finally got rid of the '75 Silverado. It hurt a little since my father bought it brand new, but it had to go. Now I just have one more complete truck and some miscellaneous parts.....

Well yes and no on the price. I personally think anything running/driving (dependable) is worth at least $2000 reguardless of looks... But I wanted 1800 for it, but to get it gone I had dropped it down to $1200. Of course when the guy saw it and drove it, he handed me the money immediately and said "I'll take it!" Another words, I went down to far. He said that he looked at a POS for $2000 that he was considering until he saw mine. Drats!

Oh well, one less worry I have. It's gone now.

Well, I actually gave all of the money from the sale to my mother for Christmas. I was in the mood for giving.

Su: waiting on the weather to paint the engine/trans/bellhousing to put it in the frame so I can finish the fuel lines....

Jimmy: Just got the driveshaft redone and hopefully during the Christmas vacation I can get it ready for driving so I can take it and get the exhaust ran.

Jeff,

I've been ready for the day Su was on the road for what, 3 years now? Only trouble Chris has is too many toys. He is at the age to where he still likes to play.

What he needs is to get married, then he will want to go out to the garage and work on the truck, if you know what I mean?

Chris,

I know exactly how it feels to drop the price on things just to get rid of them, and then someone come and buy it, and tell you they were getting ready to buy one in worse shape than yours and pay more for it.

Oh well, it's water under the bridge now. Move on the bigger and better things I always say.

Jeff,
Yeah I am getting ansy to drive one, I am trying to get the Jimmy ready for this years GMC/Chevy show. I am working on it. Heck I updated a page, does that count.. come on, give me some credit.

Mike,
Ouch! I will be 3 years officially on February 19th. Hindsight, don't take one apart... BIG commitment....

Marriage, well, "she" came by and chatted with me the other day, should I just go ahead and pop the question? Marriage wouldn't work most likely. Heck it might make it worse.

I am trying to get rid of alot of my toys. Anyone want a 92 FZR600 or a 02 V-Star 1100? I am trying, just not very hard.

Mike,
How many times have you heard me say this? Heck, I said it weeks ago! I should learn to keep my mouth shut, but......

Should we hold you to that promise Jeff?

YES, it keeps me motivated!

Tell you what, if I don't keep my promise, my punishment can be forcing me to take your fuel injection setup off your hands,
