Options for VIN plate swap.
I'm planning on switching out the left rear side panel and I was just wondering what the legality was of just poping the plate and swapping the fenders and reattching the VIN. I know one of you guys had just cut around the door post I just thought I'd see what the right way to do things was. Thanks -Jason.

Swap it out and use the correct rivets.

You can also get a reissued VIN in most states for a built vehicle. My dad just got one for his 35 dodge pu. Check with your state laws.
