Blazer frame

What is the differance between a Blazer frame and a shortbed frame? Can you use a shortbed frame with a Blazer or is it too much work. Thanks

Re: Blazer frame

I think a SWB is 115 inches and a blazer frame is 105 inches. Someone else will know for sure.

Re: Blazer frame

The length is different, and the blazer has different mounts for the body.A truck frame can be cut,and the correct mounts added fairly easy though.I'd go that route if I was going to convert to a 2wd so if I wanted to go back to 4wd I could just roll the 4wd chassis back under the tub.
