Swaybar for a 67

I got a front swaybar a while ago for my truck, its off of either a 70 or 71...and all the bushings are shot and its missing one of the end brackets. i was wondering if they sell kits for these?
But more importantly, i was wondering if anyone knows if 67's came with the holes in the frame/suspension pre-drilled to mount these or if i would have to try and drill em myself? I know i could go look, but my truck is in the next town (@ my parents ) in storage for the winter, so it will be a while till i get to go look at it again

Well, you can get bushings and brackets from ECE. I got my bushings from gmcpaul and was very happy. Our Autozones here sell kits with bushings and c-brackets that LOOK like they fit. Didn't see them til afterwards.

As far as installing, the holes in the A-arms should be there. You should also find 2 of the 4 holes for the frame brakcets already there. Just drill out the rivets on the other two and you have a bolt in deal. My 69 required 2 brackets that bolt to the frame which the middle sway brackets (u- or c- shaped) bolt to. YOu can see a pic in my pic post. You may or may not need these frame brackets. You can still get the c-shaped ones at many dealers for cheap.

Good luck!

If you have the ram style power steering, you are going to have to get a different set of frame brackets.
