If you don't have the key then you have a couple of options.
1- take one of the door lock cylinders out and take it to a locksmith & have re-keyed. It shouldn't cost more than 10 bucks if you take it to them, rather than having them come to you, and it's the same key (assuming that neither the door lock or ignition have ever been changed). Then just use the poke hole method described above. 2-Screw a slide hammer into the keyway and vent your frustrations. After the cylinder parts company with the rest of the dash, the bezel can be unscrewed and the rest of it comes out from the back. I've had to do this a couple of times even when I had the key, since sometimes the mechanism doesn't work right after 30 some years and then the poke hole method doesn't work. A new lock and key is less than 25.00 bucks Good luck!
