Post Anyone had their door locks rekeyed by a locksmith?

Just curious. I don't know if it can be done without destroying the chrome outer piece.

Yes, it's easy. I took locks from different vehicles to the lock smith and told him to make them all work with the same key, Came back an hour later and they were done, Cheap, too.

My bro' does this all the time...
Hell, if you pay postage, he may do it for free...

e-mail him @ locksmike@hotmail.com

Tell him Steve sent you and offered his services for free, he'll LOVE IT. Ask him if he has any stories about his Dad's '70 GMC !!! ( like how many times he wrecked it !!!!!)lol

Seriously, any of you guys need his help, he is a great "smith"

Did it, thought it was pretty pricy. About $60 candian funds. But that's pretty much right after i got the truck. The door key was missing and i had no means of locking the door.
