What are: Pros and Cons of Air Bag suspension?

I've got a 1969 Suburban 2wd that I was thinking of bagging.
The "stance" I want is a slight rake to the front, 2 inch drop or so, yet would like to be able to raise the rear up when I pull my car trailer with a large load.

Air ride has always impressed me for the ride quality it provides.

Can you use the rear coil replacement bags in conjunction with the rear coil "air helper springs" ?

for some pro's and con's of the after-market airbag suspension kits like the ones that http://www.brotherstrucks.com sells.Just looking

I don't plan to do any notching or anything of that sort so if it hits the frame or wheel wells then she's too low :P

you can add suicidedoors front brackets with some slam speicialties re-7's. i'm not that low anymore cause i added big ol front tires. my ride height is right below stock. for the rear, you have to ask someone else cause i dunno.

Replace the rear coils directly with Slam Specialties RE7's or RE8's for towing and that's all you'll need back there. I have RE7's all around in mine but I don't tow.

I'd call Suicidedoors and ask them what they recommend. RE7's might be plenty.

You'll save some money buying it in a kit from *****************. I have just bought all of mine where I could find decent deals...
