inner fenders

Hi,

Does anyone have any good suggestions for fabricating inner fenders on a 67 that utilize simple tools, no welding but decent clean results? It might be a tall order, but I'm trying to think of a way (since I don't have the welding skills or a lot of expensive equipment or tools) that will give my engine bay a cleaner look and allow additional clearance. Maybe, I'm just kidding myself!! Any ideas out there?
