Re: C-notch Need Pics

Bob ,
When I did my 94 I set it right down on the axle to see were it was going to hit. then I cut a peice of 6 in pipe in half and welded it to the frame over the axle then I cut the notch out and finnished boxing it in. wish I had pics but back then I couldnt aford a digital cammra. I did the work at the hobie shop on base.

This may not a little. Mine was a $100 kit from classic performance. Its a bolt on but I had it welded on as well. Hope they help. Best of luck on your build.

That's what I did on my truck as well... I bolted the notch in, welded it, removed the bolts and welded the holes in. After the frame was powdercoated you could hardly tell anything was modified.

IMHO, $100 is cheap depending on whether you will be doing the fabrication yourself and how you value your time. You could spend $100 pretty quick if you have to pay someone to build the notch for you. I did all the cutting and installing for mine then hauled the frame over to a buddy's shop to get about an hour's worth of welding done.
