72 is retired
hey guy's my 72 chevy is being replaced with a new work horse 85 gmc now to those that don't know i bought out an ald junk yard and have found ton's of goody's as in a 69 wrecker to be restored a 70 elcamino,1960 impala,a 1 ton dodge,4 or 5 ford 9 inch rearends,70 chevelle nose ,70 camaro nose,78 buick regal nose, 289 ford smallblock and numerous other goody's as i was saying i'am retiring the 72 as a work truck and she will make her new debut next spring and a new work horse is getting aface lift it came out of the junk yard were all the others were laid to rest my buddy told me that there was a nice little fixer upper in there and i laughed at him under my breath thinking it was as bad as the other's or worse low in behold i found it with only 90,000 through in a battery and some gas and it fired right up first crank over through it in gear and away we went to his front yard then oh sh*****t no brake's lol so after all that i started assessing the truck and decided to resurrect it into my new wok truck and here's what she need's 2 rocker's 2 cab corner's driver's side floor pan driver's side front cab mount 2 fender's and 2 patch panel's for the box and she will be getting a complete brake job here's some pic's for ya's frst one is right after we got her out of the weed's or jungle as some have called it lol the rest are at home in the garage getting started on the build

wow that truck is in a baaaaad state , i would buy a better cab sooner than fix that one up

i got a job again and having fun at it too idea's for the trucks and the order of things to do are taking shape and get closer to being realized , a few more months and i be able to start building for real i complete 2 of the trucks intoo running fashion one custom and one basicly stock the thirth will be sacrificed for parts |

Did it sag when the door was open?Why did you want that over your `72?Was it to save your`72?

i still have the 72 but i don't want to work it like i have been i'll admit it i'm one tough son-of-a-b on vehicles as overloadin and i want to make the 72 a street cruiser it's done it's work for 5 years for me and now it's time to take care of her and as far as the cab on the 85 that's about as good as they get here in vermont we have a problem with rust if it's ten years old you can bet on there being lot's of rust unless it was garaged all winter every year

Wow, lots of rust, but hey lots of potential, glad your letting the 72 rest for a little while.

got the gas tank out of her and started welding her up yesterday got the driver's rocker and cab corner in surprisingly the door when opened didn't drop and everything fit perfectly when i dropped the tank i found the tank and tank strap's where new and i also installed brand new brake's,caliper's,rotor's,line's,wheel cylinder's and drum's
