Ball Joint Prices
I'm confused about ball joint prices.
I am in Ontario. Truck is a 1971 C20. Locally, I checked 4 local sources (big chain stores) and got these prices $79, $70, $86, $103. The place that was $103 said these were lifetime guarantee and they also had econoline bjs for $35. Then I called Autozone in Detroit. $19.49 lifetime guarantee. Then I checked about 6 of the site vendors. Prices ranged from $15 to $41. Anyone have any input on brands of ball joints to avoid or pricing? |

Re: Ball Joint Prices
Well,I'd avoid ANYTHING from Autozone that isn't a major brand name. Other than that I wouldn't worry about the warranty if you keep them lubed on schedule. Sorry this isn't much help.

Re: Ball Joint Prices
don't you just love how us canadians love to price gouge ourselves. look into shocks, it'll make you laugh. I refuse to buy anything here when I can get it for less than half down south. It has nothing to do with importing and taxes, importing costs more, granted, but not 100%. All greed.
I would order from moog, they seem to be most reliable.

Re: Ball Joint Prices
Moog or TRW are the main ones for quality.I prefer to do it once and be able to call it done.
