Need some help

Hey guys I bought a rear end of this guy and it is a 12 bolt 6 lug with rear disc brakes I took the Calipers to the auto part place they said they where Cadillac Eldorado's Or Buick Riviera also I took the rear rotor But they can not find what the rotor goes to ....

Does anyone know? What the rotor comes off of? I read a forum on Colorado k5 that says they are the same Rotors that go on the Front of a 10 bolt or a dana 44. Is there any truth to this?

Re: Need some help

Can you post up some pics? I have only heard of rotors for the 6 lug that must be machined to fit the axle flange stub. I would love to find out what they are from so I could get a set for a rear disc project. Are there any casting numbers or any other identifying marks? If you had to match them up the following dimensions are important:

Rotor thickness
rotor diameter
hat height

and I'd like to know the inner diameter at the axle mounting flange as well.

Thanks,
Herb

Re: Need some help

Well maybe thats why the holes dont match up. he has some 6 lugs off the front 10 bolt but the middle hole is to small. Also the bolts are a tiny bit larger.
