Removing a front grill

I had to take the grill off of my truck today. It only had two tabs on the top that were holding it on, so I couldn't really tell how many screws there were suppose to be and where they are at. When removing the grill is there a correct way to pull it out after you've got all the screws out, i.e., should the bottom slide out first, top first, what?

Just had mine out the other day to replace the chrome surround.

Mine has five screws across the top accessible easily from the top area there where the hood closes. Then, there are two, one on each end at the bottom corners that you have to remove the big plastic headlight bezzels to get to. Once the headlight bezzels are out, the are easy to see, just tabs that stick out of the grill with screws throught them. Then there's one screw you have to get to from underneath, right in the center. Actually, would probably be better to start from the bottom and take the top ones out last so you'll be standing there when it comes loose.

On mine the trun signals are attached to the grill, so I has to pull the sockets out of the reflectors to free the grill.

It was kind of tricky to get the grill out, had to monkey with it a little, I THINK the bottom came out first, but don't remember exactly. Took a little monkeying with it again to get it back in.
