throttle cable for Q-jet

Does anyone know where I can get a throttle cable for a 1980 Q-jet that will adapt to my '67? Right now it has a 2 barrel with the rod style linkage, but it looks as though the Q-jet only accepts the cable.

on the Qjet; grind away the back side of the stud to remove it. then take the ball-stud from the 2 bbl and install it on the quad.
otherwise you can get new ball-studs from a parts store or from Grainger.

Re: throttle cable for Q-jet

hmmmm. Ijust looked at putter's tread on changing to a cable. Very good thread, and probably safer, but for now, I'll do as you guys are saying. A little less involved.
