Re: Bolt on 4 speed tranny?
theres the borg/warner t10'sa kinda pricy too and i'm not sure about the driveshaft and yoke. then theres the 3 speed sagini with overdrive if you can find one. if you don't abuse it the sagini's will hold up. you rev it up and dump the cluch your gona brake most any if your truck hooks up

Re: Bolt on 4 speed tranny?
I would think one of the Saginaw 4-speeds would be fine. I had one behind a 350hp Pontiac and it was fine. If your going to be racing it every weekend you'll need a beefier one, plus that won't be the only beefier thing you'll need!

Re: Bolt on 4 speed tranny?
I have a complete set up, muncie (new), flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, shifter, etc, etc. PM me, it isn't a give away, but for all that I am giving in the deal it'll bolt up and drive without 100 trips to autozone. FYI saginaws are POS and unless you want to replace it 3-4 times, spend the $$$ and buy a muncie.
