Wood Bed Pics

My painter is trying to mock-up my bed before painting. Does anyone have any pics of, or links to the cross sills and the reinforcement bar location for a Fleetside, LWB, wood bed? I'd sure appreciate any help.
Thanx,
Dan

Two sites come to mind. One is Mar-K and the other is GMC Pauls. Links are:

Good luck with your project.

Re: Wood Bed Pics

eric67m, those are great. Do you have any from the wheelwell to the rear? Isn't there a short re-inforcement brace between the wheelwells also?
Thanx

Re: Wood Bed Pics

My last few pics. It looks like there is a steel mud flap between the rear of the wheel opening and the bed floor. The rest of this bed is down at "CG's" place and headed to the scrap yard.

This comes up from time to time. We offer the short reinforcement you describe and it can be used, but was not original on the wood bed. It seems the bed would be stronger with the reinforcement strip between the wheel tubs. The choice is yours.
