I have three 15x8 factory steel rims, need one more and was wondering if anybody might know what else they came off. They are 15x8 steel , not rally rims.they are 6 lug and are on a 69 cst. Was this an option{15x8 wheels}??

Re: 15x8 factory steel rims.

Sound like 4WD wheels to me. I had a set several years ago and sold them for $60. Yeah, it was too cheap, but white spokes were popular then and my Blazer needed them.

Re: 15x8 factory steel rims.

All I know is they are super hard to find, but look really good on our trucks. Watch the for sale part of the board. Since you aren't a subscriber ( a measly 25 bucks a year ) you can't post a want to buy ad, but you can buy if you see some posted.

Here is a pic of one of my trucks with them on it.

Re: 15x8 factory steel rims.

I'd love to find a set, since I for some strange reason think white steel wheels on a 4x4 look great. It must be from watching Wild Kingdom as a child... And that John Wayne movie in Africa with the CJ6!. Scarred me a bit apparently.

Re: 15x8 factory steel rims.

These wheels were aftermarket but made by the same mfgr that made factory sized wheels...Kelsey Hayes. They may not have been the only maker of wheels, but that`s the name I always heard. They weren`t just 4wd wheels. They were available in 5-lug,too.The factory wide wheels like these were all made in 16.5,6 or 8 lug,and were an option on K-models.Later in the`70s the 15x8s were available as an option on 4wds and were the wheels used on military Blazers in the 80s.
