Question Summit Discounts?

I have seen a couple posts that mentioned the Summit discount code for the month-What is it and how does it work?
I've been buying from Summit for over a year- why haven't THEY told me bout this?
Thanks,

Re: Summit Discounts?

I remember a few years ago seeing Summit Racing coupon codes but have seen none since. However, I could really use one myself.

Re: Summit Discounts?

I have been a regular Summit customer for about a year now. To my knowledge there isn't any monthly discount "code", but, they do issue customers "Summit Bucks". It kinda works like green stamps did years ago. If you spend a certain amount on specified parts you earn a coupon that you can put toward the purchase of anything in their catalog.
Of course, I could be wrong. Sometimes mail order companies will offer new promotional goodies from time to time. My new catalog just came a few days ago......I haven't had time to look through it yet. Will have to check it and see.

Re: Summit Discounts?

I am aware of the summit bucks- separate topic entirely.
Si if I enter the code from the catalogue that triggers a discount? Any one know how much the discount is?
Thanks,
Dave

Re: Summit Discounts?

The summit bucks are based on money spent. Doesn't matter what you buy. Every $500 ( or 500 points ) gets you a $15 gift card. Sometimes they give extra points for certain items.

Re: Summit Discounts?

I have spent about $10,000 with Summit in the last year, 0 discount, 0 Summit bucks.
This isn't something I think, or heard about from someone else. Fact.
So whats the deal?
I think the only thing available is Summit Bucks if you buy the featured items.
Anyone got an invoice that shows anything else?
Just trying to get to the truth here. If there is a discount I'd sure like to know how it works?
Thanks to all who contributed,
