Radiator support, fenders, tailgate, grill, bumper, and other minor stuff depending on how close you want to make it look like a chevy.

Re: Gmc To Chevy.

i could be wrong, but I think the radiator support is gonna be a tough iem to find. most of the used ones have a lo of rust, and i am not sure they make new ones, but like i said, i could be wrong. i would leave it alone, 4 headlights makes it easier to see at night.

Re: Gmc To Chevy.

You could use the GMC radiator support I believe, if you cut off the extra headlight buckets.

Don't know about making it look like a 71, but you can make it look like a 68 with just the grill and knocking the head light brackets off the core support. At least it works with the 67 GMC and I believe the newer are the same. Here is my 67 GMC.

Re: Gmc To Chevy.

If you can find a vehicle with the entire front clip, then it is a simple unbolt and bolt on the new to have a 71/72 chevy. But just about every piece of the front clip is different between the GMC and the chevy (In 71).

Was it an easy switch for the wiring from quads to dual headlights? Whats required, just use the high beam wiring or what?

Re: Gmc To Chevy.

nothing's wrong with GMC's. I've owned nothing BUT GMC's (well, one '91 S10 Blazer and my current '06 TBSS which aren't really trucks) which have included a 64, 68, 77, 86, an 01 C3 (the 1st Denali truck), and an '04 Yukon.
I generally prefer the look of a GMC front end over the Chevy's...but when it comes to the '67-'72 trucks...I prefer the "look" of the '67-'68 Chevy grill. Just my personal preference...doesn't mean anyone has to agree with it.
