What did you guys with 69-70 custom grilles do for turnsignals??
I just got my billett grille and outer grille installed & bolted on, Now I need to come up with an Idea for turn signals.
I've thought about 71-2 bumpers, But my 70 bumper is brand new. But I may have to go that way anyway. RON |

Yeah Ron any Pic's?? I sure would like to get one myself, but dont know how they would look.
I like the 71-72 bumper better than the one that came on our trucks, but I would have a hard time parting with a new bumper too???

You could easily sell the new bumper. I had a 68 with a 72 bumper on it. 4 front parking lights!
But we will have LED front inserts in the future. And possibly some billet covers for lenses.

RON -- I LIKE TO MOUNT THE TURNSIGNALS BEHIND THE GRILL, ON THE RADIATOR SUPPORT, FOR A MORE SANITATY LOOK. I EITHER USE 67-68, 67-72 GMC OR 71-72 CHEVY TURNSIGNALS. IT WORKS, & LOOKS GREAT. JOHN

Everything on the left side of this camera is out of focus.
There's plenty of clearance with the Blazer tank installed. Lots of work to do to this thing yet. It's never ending. |

Most of the metal in the junkyards are in very good condition, Unless it didn't originate from here, And since this town wasn't a town until 1963 most of us are implants...

Hey, Nevada70,
They are Ultra I think type 52 or 54's, 6 lug. I'll show them to you in person in the next couple of months. I'm moving south of you, somewhere in the Carson to Minden area. I'm moving my jewelry store and 2 families. We're coming up in two weeks to look at some property. 10 acres in Virginia hills, and another between Minden and Topaz lake. I'm hoping to have it running to make the trip but I don't know if I'll make it or not. I have 8 horses,5 dogs, a store,2 houses, and lots of junk.... I hate to move, but I'm tired of the Heat. Son-in-law is in the final stages of his background check for Douglas county sheriff dept.He may be up there in about 3 weeks to a month. Can't wait to meet you guys from there, At least I'll have someone to share truck info on, there is no one here that does anything with trucks or cars besides drive the heck out of them. RON |
