Inside handle for barn doors?

Does such a thing exist? We like to go over nighting sometimes in the Panel, and it would sure be handy to be able to open the barn doors from the inside, instead of climbing over the seats to get out the cab doors. Any ideas?

Re: Inside handle for barn doors?

Good Question Pritch. As I have pondered this myself.
With having a bad back ,sometimes it is hard for me to bend forward and my panel truck isnt even road worthy yet.
Anybody who can answer this?

Re: Inside handle for barn doors?

My burb had a push knob in it when I bought it. Definetley not factory however. The guy was to cheap to fix the outside handle. Just a knob drilled through to push the latch. Not complicated so I'm sure something nicer looking could be made.

mine had a aluminum looking handle, probably an after market, since it was used as an ambulance from 72-92.

I never thought of an ambulance handle. I just bet they are rarer than hen's teeth, though. There must be something between that and a simple push knob.
