Nice, I like the burnt orange with the black. not so big on the flames between. Nice rims. wow, wasnt expecting to see a plain vortec in there. Well done interior, must ahve taken a long time, dont like the wheel. Bed is fairly nice, nice work on that frame.

Re: Pretty nice c-10
Personaly, i would ahve gone with a 6.0L truck engine from a Chevrolet; LQ9 or LQ4. Just switch out the intake and cam and you pretty much a have a steel block LS2, only diference is a little less compertion. go with a T56 6 speed, 12 bolt rear. C notch and drop on air.

Re: Pretty nice c-10
Looks like good quality work but there is to much I don't care for.
They pretty much destroyed the dash. The gauges DON'T fit the flow of the dash lines in the least. Neither does the ac/heat control. Why leave a big hole in your bed like that? Suppose if its going to be trailer/show only truck it's ok to show the frame work. I've never cared for those phantom grilles especially with the gaps so large between the bars. I have seen a couple truck that pulled the look off nicely with the phantom grille but I don't believe this is one of them. I do like the rust orange with the black, and even the flames seperating the two colors is ok. Like I said it does look like quality work and I have to give credit for that but I overall I personaly don't like it. Just my 2 cents Frank

Re: Pretty nice c-10
I agree with sick69, its too much, I would have made it nice and simple. Also im not big on that digital dash, they are a pain, my 55 bel-air had one, and had soo many problems.

Re: Pretty nice c-10
ya but you guys gotta remember that this is a show truck and it probably wont see too much other than the show floor and plus i don't think this guy was going for a restored look he went all custom i mean why not when he has his own shop to play with whatever he wants

Re: Pretty nice c-10
Got to give credit to the guy for making his vision come true.... wish I could do that.
But since I can't, I'm pretty much buying off the shelf stuff to make it unique. And staying kind of conservative, even thinking of painting it red Last edited by Mondo; 11-12-2007 at 05:27 PM. |
