Cool 68 sub on 1989 chevy truck frame

I was wondering I have a 68 sub on a 89 truck frame,Im getting ready to start on it.I was going to make a 3 door truck with a 90 bed on it.I was going to lower it 4 and 5in ,it sits high on the frame(2 wheel dr).Arter looking at some of these pics Im not sure whether to do that or leave as a sub.I would like to do somthing with the roof, they look really tall on these models,I seen one in classic trucks where they cut the top and layed the windshield back, anyone ever tried anything like that.

Sorry I didn't answer your question, just saw the part about the newer frame... I've seen it done; slight chop on a burb.

Here's one:

your sub is a very nice one also,it sits really nice how do you like the bags?what do you set it at (air) when you are driving it,what do you have for seats,I dont think I would chop that one, right now mine is a real project,so anything I do will help it.

to the site. Anything is possible with a little fabrication work.
Frizzle Fry,
Both of those are nice, I really like that crew cab. Looks like a Burb turned into a truck.

They didn't shorten the wheelbase "tahoe style" but I think they bobbed the @$$ a bit. Looks good with the dome chop.
