New project in MO
I've been skulking around on here for a long while... dreaming, pondering, planning, admiring, etc...
Always wanted a 67-72. A 71 swb, in particular. (my wife is a 71 model, so 71's have a little significance) A few weeks ago, I found it - it just happened to be sitting 2 miles from my house. It was like it had sunbeams directing me to it, with faint "halleluia" background music. LOL. Seriously, I wouldn't have bought it if it weren't a 71. Just couldn't pass it up. So, now I've cleared out some valuable garage space and I'm ready to tear in to it. Like 99.86% of you, money will be tight for a while, so it will likely be a looooong term build. But at least now I have something to tinker with. I welcome all of you to my life. Last edited by hobie411; 11-09-2007 at 07:43 PM. |

There are few times in life when everything just seems to fall in place, but often when they do, there's an old Chevy truck there. Welcome to the board.

Attachment 314361 It needs the usual floor pans and rockers, and 1 fender and 1 bedside (so far). Other than that, it's in pretty good shape. |

Re: new project
oh, and THANKS for the warm welcome. much appreciated! And I admire each and every one of you classic chevy owners.
I've had several later model customs, but never rebuilt a classic. I'm REALLY excited about it. |
