Dash Questions
The metal part behind the dash pad that everything mounts to, can that be taken out? The radio are in my 84 got demolished by one of the PO and I want to get it back so the cut can be made good and not a hack job. I removed just about all of the interior pieces in the 83 parts burb and I noticed a couple of bolts on the sides that look like they held the metal part of the dash in place. Maybe I am retarded but it looked like it could come out.

Re: Dash Questions
I believe there's 4 bolts, 2 on each side, and then it's spot welded along the window line. You'd have to drill out the spot welds.
I would think it would be far easier to repair the dash that's already in there, rather than replace it. |

Re: Dash Questions
i know plenty of people who have repaired them in the truck way easier than taking it out
