Who is running tubular A-ARMs with springs not bag's? What kind of drop do you have? Please show me pictures!!!!!!!!!

The rear are 4" drop coils with 1" drop blocks, tires are 255/70/15 on front and 285/70/15 rear with 15x8 TT2's. Tires don't rub unless they are cut all the way in and you push it real hard into a corner, the the rub is very minimal.
Going to change the drop springs out for drop spindles and stock springs ( ends up being the same drop ). The cost is around $1300.00 for the arms ( upper and lower with new ball joints anf poly bushings ). Well worth the investment. You can see a photo install in the NOV/DEC issue of Truck Builder ( it is published by Buckaroo Communications, you can contacy jkaylor68gmc for more info on the mag. He is an editor/photographer for them.)

so how does it handle? mine seems to wander some maybe jsut normal but I thought maybe upper ones would help?

As always that's a sharp truck! Is there a benefit to the tubular arms in this application, or was it a personal preference?

just a preference, really improved the handling alot and the ride is still really good. going to change out the drop springs for drop spindles in the next couple of weeks (trying to get my garage finished up before winter, got some freshening up to do to the old girl for next year ). I'll post the pic's when
i make hte swap.

I pulled my left upper A-ARM (stock) off and noticed something that was A little odd (to me). The 2 bolt's protruding out of the frame were the A-ARM cross shaft bolts onto measures .47" and the cross shaft bolt holes measure .57" (The bolts don't appear worn and neither do the bolt holes in the cross shaft). Is this difference normal? I would have thought that would have been A close tolerance fit. Then there was what appeared to be heavy washers in the bolts, then shims and then the cross shaft for the A-ARM. I have never had my A-ARMS off before never seen this. I guess I just need to know if this is normal.

not sure about the .10" difference, but the heavy washer and shims are normally there. Your camber is adjusted with these.

"A good friend will bail you out of jail...but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying "that was frekin awesome".
