Re: ok, a little help, sorry for the new thread!
yeah it was covered in dust in a hay barn, it has always been a farm blazer, low miles, only 68k, and I asked my g-pa about it one day, he said, yeah tow that peice of crap to the wrecking yard for me, so I told him I would take it, and he gave it to me. It even came with a PTO winch (not in pic) and everything is original..the rear seat was never sat in, had about 2 inches of dust on it, cleaned it off and it was as white as could be...anyways, yeah its been fun, I have no idea what its worth though. any ideas? thanks

Something like that your looking at about $6000-$8000 range. You're not thinking about selling it are you? Don't ever sell it, but if you do, I'd like first dibbs.

Re: ok, a little help, sorry for the new thread!
not right now, I just finished the engine...it came with a 350, he took it out and put it in a motorhome, then stuck a 6cyl in the blazer, I took the 6 cyl out and put the 350 back in with new paint, headers, performance manifold etc etc etc, it was a lot of work, oh and check out what I found in the back, he said he bought it in 70's sometime and never got around to putting it in, factory tach and vaccumm...pretty cool[IMG][/IMG]

An original tach dash, unused. That is probably worth as much as the blazer, lol. Thats an awesome thing getting that from your grandpa. You should hold on to it and pass it on like he did for you.

WOW! That is a great thing that your Grandpa did for you. We definetly need more pics, maybe some of the interior. Is that a single wall top? Also, is that a console between the front seats?

Re: ok, a little help, sorry for the new thread!
I can't believe he said to tow it off.
You really should hold on to it. Since it's yours and paid for it's not costing you anything to keep it so why sell it?

Re: ok, a little help, sorry for the new thread!
right now there is buddy bucket seat, but he gave me a matching console also...Ill probably put the console in...it needs some touchup first though..no tilt, I wish....It isnt a CST model. MY latest improvement was power steering, WAY BETTER. I also took off the original biasply tires and stock wheels and upgraded. somehow I have tons of extra parts now, people find em and give em to me, ie:3 cowl vents, 3 grills, 2 steering wheels etc.tons more....anyways...oh, anyone one know where to get a AM/FM radio? thanks![IMG][/IMG] rear seat looks stained but its just some dirt...when I clean it up its like spotless and the foam is still nice seeing how it was never sat in. the only damage on te rear seat is from then he drug it around his barn. pretty cool.
