87 350 Engine????

Okay the valve covers bolt down through the center. What type of carb intake does this application use to drop in my 70 stepside? Engine is coming out of a 1987 C20 Van... This is my first chevy truck build. Educate me please! Thanks in advance!!!

Re: 87 350 Engine????

You can use any normal small block intake on those heads. You'll need to slightly enlongate the center two bolt holes on each side. Other than that, the later heads don't cause any fitment problems.

If you search, this was covered in some depth in the past. I posted pictures of an intake or two that I did this to. Copy the pictures and you're good to go.
