Were seats an option that the original owner passed on?

My wife would have to spend that money on a new grill if she took it upon herself to sell my truck. (and I don't mean a grill for the family cruiser!)

It could just be a trick! Nice restoration however with the black boards...but the metal strips should have been black as well. Interesting that the fleetside wood beds were painted the body color and the stepsides were black.

A scorned woman is a dangerous woman. That's why all my vehicles are in my name and hers are in her name.

Actually it could be that it isnt even a woman. Just a smart marketing move. Make people look at it a little less closely because they think wife is getting over on husband and they wont notice severe defects.

Re: Kind of odd ad, not mine...

my dad got a 2000 town and country off CL 3 weeks ago, one of the almost-a-scams that we fell into looking for a van;
Call the number, spoke to the 'owner', and he told us that the van was around the corner from his hous... we'll meet him/pick him up at his house, and go to the van. We just assumed his wife had there only vahicle, and worked at the CVS or what ever at the buisy intersection down the street.
We get there, nice house, no oil stains in the driveway. He gets in our van and directs us to a small used car lot. The dealer was trying to pass it off as his car. The keys were in the office, so it wasn't like he was trying to sell the car without the legal owner knowing... but he was standing there tellin me the thing had never been wrecked (both front fenders and the bumper were just replaced, there was paint on the rad from where they painted it, the rear bumper was just painted too, and the hatch was pushed off to teh drivers side by an inch) The car didn't even have plates on it (dead giveaway in Ohio that it is on a lot)

Re: Kind of odd ad, not mine...

That CL ad is exactly why you don't keep written documentation of what you've spent on your truck laying around the house. The wife finds it and flips out. If this is real she better enjoy the money she gets out of it,,,,I smell a divorce coming for christmas!
