Wheel options

I have a 67 C20 8 lug. I am looking at different wheel options. Any one have some pics of eight lug chevy's with rims? Looking at 18's front and 20's rear but any pics would be nice. Thanks

Re: Wheel options

There are a few 8 lug options out there. But not many.

I converted my 72 C20 to a 1/2ton SWB, and there are many more aftermarket options for a 5 lug

Re: Wheel options

I have been wondering this myself.. not really wanting to tackle the 8 -5 lug swap.. I have wagon wheels on it now but was going to just buy some full moon disc's to cover em up.. I like that old rat rod look.. interested in seeing some more pics of different 8 lug rims..

Re: Wheel options

I guess alot of people make their C20's into C10's. I want to keep the eight lugs because its different then the average 67-72. I know there are alot of newer rims for eight lugs but I am concerned aboput hub clearence. Anyone have any input?

Re: Wheel options

there are alot more 8 lug options now just in the past few years since 3/4 4x4's are now cool. There's a magazine on stands called 8luggers or something. I like restewart09's. You might have to put on longer studs however. The other part of the equation is many ppl are changing out the 3/4 rears because they had mule pulling gear sets, 4.11, 4.56 hardly highway friendly.

Re: Wheel options

I'll look into that mag. I didnt even think about the gears in the rear ends being so different then 1/2 tons. I have 4.10's but the 700R4 is a lifesaver. She'll cruise at 70mph no problems.

Re: Wheel options

Not really my style but thanks for the input. I'm sorry to say it but I am stuck in two different generations:

Love older cars and trucks 60's and 70's

But love the big wheels and speakers

Re: Wheel options

Well I found a set of wheels I like but I dont know if they will fit. The fronts are 9in wide with 4.5 in bs. Any one know if this will work. Its hard to find eight lug wheels that arent backspaced for lifted 4x4's.
