He must have been they guy with the Direct Exhaust Injection. Or maybe that was the PCV valve.

That reminds me of my dad's story about buying an old furd with an overhauled engine that had not been fired up yet. Dragged the car home and got it running, for a little while. He tore it down and found shoe leather for rod bearings. You can imagine the rest... What is that saying? "buyer beware"!
