Front clips....

I'm thinking of putting on a 81-87 front clip onto my 80, because mines pretty banged up, and I like the lines of the 81-87 better. Are the only things I need the rad support, inner and outer fenders, and hood?

i just did it last week.. Don't for get the hood hinges and springs.. here is a good link http://www.coloradok5.com/grilleswap.shtml

theres a hole already there and i used that hole as a guide and the new hinge and just traced the circle 2 times put nuts and bolts the tack welded it and your good to go..o yea the window wipers are different so is that long rod peace

If you go with the 81-82 front end you will need a bumper since the turn signals are in it, or you can relocate them...

you will also have to cut the frame horns to fit the 81-87 bumper.

the wiper arms will also need replacement the nubs that come up through the cowl will not allow the wipers to fit.. i put an 81 cab on my 76 and had the opposite problem
