gas tank sending unit

I just got the new gas tank sending unit for my truck from LMC truck parts and it's not even close to matching the original. I've never delt with them so I am not sure how they well there service department is. I would like some feedback on there service and does anyone have any ideas about getting the right part since the one I need doesn't match the one in the catalog?

Well LMC is usually pretty good about returns. Wich sending unit are you looking for? The 71-72 style (truck) with two tubes sticking out of the top or the single 3/8" tube with the flared end? If you have the 1/4" feed tube they are not being reproduced and are not available. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

I have a 68 3/4 ton with a 327 4bbl. It has a single 3/8 tube on it. I would like to replace the entire fuel line but LMC doesn't list one. Do you know if someone else carries it?

Have you tried inline tube or classic tube? You could bend your own too.
