New toyz for the shop
Just finished buliding 2 new tools, er "toys" for the shop. The body cart was made from an old battery rack that came from Auto Zone. The wheels are rated 500lbs each. Total cost was $28.00 including the 2 rattle cans of paint. I made it 8 feet long and 4 feet wide, it will be perfect for truck beds. The other is a engine/body/anything friggin heavy hoist. Bought the steel out of the seconds rack for 15 cents per pound (total of 600lbs), and the wheels for $24.00. Didn't get it painted yet...but cost on it will be less than $125.00 I have already put the Impala body on the cart but the camera crapped out after the 3 pics I took below. Let me know what you think. Jerry
