Re: C-10 w/ Airbrushed trim?? Who Has pics.

I hope to have something like that here in the next couple of weeks. I have a pinstripper fixing to do my truck once I get it back from the paint shop.

Check this thread out. I have some idea's in mind but I'm going to let him look at and get his idea's too!

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

I think the painter is truly an artist. His/her talents are amazing, but that it what they're getting paid to do. As for me, all the trim comes off and will not be duplicated in any form or fashion. It's the way I want MY truck. To each, his own.

I am still up in the air on this subject. I am getting paint soon...and dont want to loose that classic appeal. I am going to keep the two tone...but dont know about the trim. I am gong to shave the side markers for sure. I might replace all the trim with new, or shave all together. Most full shaved vehicles I have seen look like a newer vehicle. Like you said..to each his own. I dont know if ive seen a two tone truck without trim though?? Have you? if so got some pics?

Jay, if I was you, I would do the firebird markers to make them look frenched and keep your trim. It looks good now but the sidemarkers would look slick!

Re: C-10 w/ Airbrushed trim?? Who Has pics.

I'm not trying to put this truck down, because it is an extremely nice truck, but for all the time and money put into it doesnt look like the grill fits very good at all on the passenger side. Maybe its just the way the picture was taken. Did any of you notice this?

Re: C-10 w/ Airbrushed trim?? Who Has pics.

I agree nice truck. Not my style. I noticed the grille months ago.It looks to be aftermarket grille. The truck needs a GM unit. If it is a GM grille, then the fenders are probably aftermarket.
This is still a nice truck.

I picked up that mag a few months ago also. Killer work... The guy did it more as an advertisement for the quality of his work if you read the article.

My cousin has one of the next generation body style but the idea is quite similar. As long as your painter knows what he's doing and can get crisp paint lines, it will look nice. I have seen 67-72 trucks with the "four color zones" without trim and they looked quite excellent. I'm still a big fan of the trim myself.
