Did the Suburban buddy buckets have a back on the console part of the seat?

No, no seatback and the hinge in the box is a little different than the pickup

i had thought Rod had one WITH the seat back, and it had it's own upright support since there's no fuel tank to lean on.

My center seat came out of a truck. I modified so it doesn't fold back when you flip it up.

I talked to a guy who has a set and he said there was no back like the truck has. Pics make sense now.

That center console is probably a good part to try to get if possible. Its rare and could probably be easily sold or traded for a truck type.

There is something familiar about the pics of the red 68 GMC suburban C10 with the Dand 60 posi 3.54 rear gears and the buddy buckets....Oh yeh...it's in my back yard.....
