Post 72 repro. door panels

I just read johnnyp's great website review http://www.lunarpages.com/pattson/maych/mh_pro_4b.htm of 72 molded plastic aftermarket door panels and woodgrain inserts. In my opinion he struggled too much with new repro. door panels. Does anyone have other experiences with aftermarket door panels? I am probabably going to order a set of these if I can mostly assemble woodgrain, chrome strip and door panels and install, it would help to know if others have had this problem or good sucess along with who their suppliers were. Vendors, if you are familiar with your product and can assure me of good fit, email me a price for a set of black 72 door panels and woodgrain inserts. Specify if inserts are plastic or metal and if the have the silver strip around perimeter like OEM.

thanks,

Bob

I have repo door panels and woodgrain panels on mine. His webpage is right on. The woodgrain panels are perfectly like the originals, and the door panels SUCK. They are not even close. If you spend enough time with them you can get them to work but the quality is lousy.

Those woodgrain door panel inserts: Do they come with the trim strip or is that a separate item?

Tom's right - I've never seen repro trim for sale - very rare item. That's why I was so concerned with having to remove mine more than once - the're held on with metal spikes that are that are bent over and repeated beding will break them off.

BTW - sorry if you've tried to get into my web site and can't - they limit me to so much traffic each day. I could eliminate the problem by paying them a monthly fee, but I'm kinda cheap.
