WIW - 1972 C20 Cheyenne Super

I got a line on a decent 72 Cheyenne Super C20 with the factory 402 and A/C. It is kind of a survivor in that it looks to be complete and factory (except for the wheels). It has the typical rust in the cab corners, cab mounts and some in the rockers. Floors are solid. Dash has been cut but the reat of the interior is stock.

I would like to know what you guys think this is worth before I buy it. It will be for sale so chime in if you are interested.

I would say for that kinda shape, 2000-2500?? Maybe 3.... Big Block stuff gets harder and harder to come by... plus it don't look like it's really full of rust.

Re: WIW - 1972 C20 Cheyenne Super

It does appear to be pretty nice, but it would have to be worth more than the $3000 71blksuper4x4 suggested for me to buy it. However, if that's all she's worth then that's all she's worth. Keep'm comin'!

David, I just don't think we are getting close enough to make it happen. I do like your truck though, so maybe we can try something else.

I could see it bringing 4ish + in the right spot to someone looking for a truck like that. To me, if it were a 1/2 ton it would be worth more.

depends on where you are. Overr here, the numbers would scare the crap out of you... but in your area, it's a little more common.
I've been offered over 5 grand for my burb, and it isn't even 1/2 the truck that sucker is.

My humble: $4K around here...if the rockers and corners really are all the sheet metal that needs to be replaced.

I would say $4,000-$4,500. I recently bought a '72 Super 20 from Texas with more options and less rust for $6,000. The remainder of the truck was about the same condition as the truck that you are looking at.

Re: WIW - 1972 C20 Cheyenne Super

I do think it's worth more than that, as being a Cheyenne Super, but coming from Oklahoma, I would think it would be even more rust free. That's all I was getting at. It seems there are a lot of trucks down your way that don't have that much rust from looking at pics and seeing a few. I do agree though that it could fetch a little more than I stated at 3,000, but you also have to factor in if it's worth it after body work, paint, and slight restoration. Trevor

A whole lot more than 4,000 if you part it out!
