Driveshaft ???
I am about to put a 350 with 350 turbo transmission in my 70 Stepside. My truck currently has a 350 and 4spd with the granny gear... What driveshaft do I need when I do this swap. I am hoping there is something I can grab out of the junkyard that will work....

Re: Driveshaft ???
When I did the swap (4-spd-TH400) I removed my carrier bearing, took measurements and had the local driveline shop build me A one piece. Much better. You are a short step right??

Re: Driveshaft ???
if it is a short step, that's not a bad idea.
Call your driveline shop first, to see what they want you to do to get the correct numbers for them to work with. |
