How many switches are you running for your bag setup? I’m in the market to buy a switch box, any recommendations? Things/ companies to stay away from?

Re: switches..? got questions.
The avs switch box are really nice... Very pricey but you can hold it in one hand and not have to sit it on your lap.. In my s-10 I just have 2 rockers... in my 77 just 2 toggles... 65 has the avs

Re: switches..? got questions.
there is a downside to running 2 switches.
if you are only running 4 valves, you will get body roll, with shocks, with sway bars, you cant stop air transfer. if you are running 8 valves with 2 switches, you will air up unevenly in the front due to weight and possibly in the rear, depending where gas tank is. again, weight issue. i like running 6.. 4 individuals and 1 for the front and 1 for the rear. this go round on my nissan, i'm going with an AVS 7 switch with the rockers. |

not too hijack this thread but how easily are those switch boxes to wire in, im currently running 4 toggles would it be just a matter of swapping the wire over i see it looks like they use blade connectors? i have FBSS now but id like to just have the option to slam all 4

Re: switches..? got questions.
Yes the AVS box is super easy... it has a cable that goes to another little box that you can mount under your dash or just whereever. On that box there is little flat head screws inside a plastic tube.. above the plastic tube it is labeled exactly.. FL LIFT FL DUMB FR LIFT

Re: switches..? got questions.
i have two on the dash of the shop dually and then a 7 pin trailer plug wired to a 10 switch box that plugs to a socket under the roll pan to show off at shows. And before anyone asks how I level it I have bleeder buttons ( old firestone style ) plumb'd off the guage lines. the guages and switches are in a custom panel where the stock radio head unit was in the dash.
