Re: Fast Orange: Rodstoration

The carpet on the bottom of the door came from Scott's Super Trucks in Penhold, Alberta. I can't remember what it was worth, but he also had matching kick panel carpet (I'm building speaker kicks, so I didn't go for the kick carpet). It has a cardboard-type backing and I attached it to the door with contact cement. I did the same with the headliner.

The more I look at these pics, the more I think the truck needs to go lower with some modern wheels, likely 20's. What's everyone else think?

I just got up to date on your build it has been awhile since I checked it out. You have done a great job on this truck. As far as lower and bigger I say heck yah! I love them low and big (XXL insert pic here) so I say go for it.

Re: Fast Orange: Rodstoration

Bed was in a little worse shape than I originally anticipated....

This is what I found in the cross braces just with a hammer. More fell when I cut.

A little cutting and welding.

A fair coating of undercoat

Some bodywork

And a good coating of epoxy

Getting close......
