1T crossmember same as 1/2T?

i was wondering if a 73 chevy 1 ton crossmemeber is the same and the 1/2 ton this way i could just change out the a arms instead of the whole CM?

The cross members are the same. You will however have to change out the upper ball joints which are riveted in from the factory. the replacement ones SHOULD come with new nuts&bolts to install them with.
The lower control arms will need to be swapped out as well since the lower ball joints on them are pressed in. The mounting surface of the ball joint where it presses into the control arm is smaller in diameter on the 1/2T than they are on the 3/4 & 1Ton also the stems are smaller in diameter as well.
Change out these parts and you SHOULD be able to bolt every thing right up.
