custom trim

1963 gmc surburan .i want to remove trim around the side windows. i removed the trim on the door today.around the top it was held on with clips and the lower part on door was held on with a nut. how is the rest of the side held on before i start prying.how do you remove the custom trim next to the door? thanks

These will pop off with gentle prying. They are held in with the 2 legged spring clips. The "Custom" emblems come off the same way, but have expansion type plugs(2) holding them in. It is critical to keep these straight as you work them out, or they will break.

Just realized you said SUBURBAN-OOPS! I'd venture a guess that if there is no access to the backside, they'd still have to be held in with spring clips.
