Re: boots?
Go to any parts house that carries "HELP" brand parts. I got a pair a few years ago.

Re: boots?
A NAPA store may carry them too. They usually have more of that kind of thing than the mass market places.

Re: boots?
By the way, the boots and pressing the ball joint into place have nothing to do with each other. The ball joint presses in from the bottom of the arm, but the boot sets atop the arm. It shouldn't be anywhere near the ball joint when pressing it in. Sounds like your guy on the press might have been confused about how this works.

Re: boots?
The ball joint is pressed in from the bottom. Then, you push the boot down over the top of the ball joint from the top of the arm.
The boot will be labeled with the inboard deal for a reason though. There will be a gap in the edge of the boot. It is installed inboard. The reason for this is that when you grease the ball joint, the grease will tend to go out of the gap in the boot. This, being located inboard, will vent the grease onto the top of the control arm and not outward onto the brake rotor. Put them in wrong and the grease might ooze out and drip onto the rotor. It's a safety thing.
