Re: Battery Talk... (Optima vs. Others)

Optima is a great battery. I just bought a new battery and turned in my old optima (dead Cell) had it for 5 years. But when they parts guy said the same battery would run me 199 dollars i opted for the napa battery that had the same cca. I could also buy 3.5 new napa batteries for the price of one optima. Just spray some terminal protector on it and away you.

I have duralast gold for my old gmc. It has 1,000 cranking amps and 800 cold cranking amps and I paid right at a 100 dollars for and it has an 8 year warranty. http://www.autozone.com/selectedZip,.../selectZip.htm

Thumbs up Re: Battery Talk... (Optima vs. Others)

I have a red top Optima battery in my '78 Chevy pickup. It was installed in 1993 and still going strong, zero problems. If you can afford it I highly recommend it. Diehard would be my second choice.
Colby.
