Two questions in one
First:
Where in the world can I get drop spindles that DONT require switching to disk brake in the process? I just rebuilt the brakes and I would LIKE to keep some of this truck original. Second: Whats the easiest and cheapest way of switching to 5 lug from 6 but keeping drums? All opinions needed. Please! Thanks A Million Newton |

Re: Two questions in one
save the drums stuff for the back later on and switch to discs up front. then you will have better stopping and 5 bolt wheels. DONE!!!

Re: Two questions in one
Dropped arms from Charlies drop shop in Oregon. They arent cheap. I think they were like 300 bucks, but you get back 50 if you send em a core. I never sent em a core.
I think the drop is something like 2.5 inches. |

Re: Two questions in one
The 'dropped' a-arms that CG posted are the same thing as 'stepping' the a-arms just to avoid confusion. That Charleys place has done several board members trucks & seem to be very reputable w/67-72 suspension mod's.

Re: Two questions in one
How much drop do you want? You can go down 3" with springs, then lower if and when you go to discs.
